Tender must accompany with Earnest Money @ 2% of the bid value in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of Director, SLIET, Longowal, payable at Longowal/Sangrur for category A, B & C. Detailed specifications and quantity required may be had from STORE PURCHASE OFFICER of the institute to be obtained on payment of Rs. 400/-(Rupees four hundred only), separately for each category through Bank Draft in favour of Director, SLIET, Longowal, payable at Longowal/Sangrur OR cash deposit in Accounts Section of Institute before 01:30 P.M.

Tender documents can be had during office hours 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on working days upto 11.08.2009. Last date of receipt of Tenders is 12.08.2009 upto 1:30 P.M. & Tender/Technical Bids(of category A, B & C) will be opened on same day at 3:00 P.M. in the Conference Room of Admn. Block in the presence of tenders who may opt to be present at that time. If last date happens to be holiday, tenders will be opened on the next working day at same time.

For category A, B & C tenderers must submit, Technical Bid & Compliance Certificate alongwith tender documents duly signed, Commercial Bid & EMD in three different envelops clearly marking the contents on the outside of each envelop and these all three to be sealed in a single big envelop indicating envelopes contained in it. Commercial bids of only those tenderers will be opened subsequently who will qualify technically.

Security of Rs. 10,000/- to be furnished through DD in favour of Director, SLIET, Longowal. Authorized dealer(s) are required to support an authorized certificate from their Manufacturer alongwith tender.

Tenders not on prescribed form, without earnest money or received late will not be entertained. In case any EMD/Security is lying with institute that shall not be considered for this tender. Institute shall not be responsible for postal delay in receipt of tender documents/tenders. Telegraphic/Fax tenders and conditional tenders will not be entertained. Technical bid must consist list of actual users, technical literature and catalogues of each equipment. Director, SLIET reserves the right to reject all or any of tender without assigning any reason what-so-ever. He may also increase or decrease the quantity.
