SLIET is situated in rural
area of District Sangrur spreading over approximately 451 acres of land. The
institute needs adequate security arrangement which is done through private
security agency. |
|
Security guards are deployed
round the clock in Science block, Mechanical block, Food/Chemical Block, ECE/CSE
Block and Workshop. In addition, adequate security personnel are also deployed
in Administrative block, Guest house, Hostels.
|
|
Every incoming and outgoing
vehicles are checked by Security Guards at two main gates i.e., Longowal Gate
and Duggan Gate.
|
|
Proper communication amongst
the various security staff is maintained via intercom facility.
