It is a matter of great privilege and
pride to be alumni of a great institute , SLIET , which has become
known in India and beyond fro its innovation, its enterprise, the quality of
its teaching and its research. This reputation was earned through the
courage and hard work of the institute staff and students. Although it has
already achieved much,SLIET,is a young institute , and as such it
still has fewer graduate than the other Indian collages/universities.
However as , I have been able to find out for myself in a number of
meetings, both in India and overseas, many of our alumni have been highly
successful and have gathered considerable experience in their careers. They
also continue to feel a strong loyalty to SLIET, and I hope that we can make
use of that by involving them far more in the institute?s planning and
development over the period ahead . the advice and support of all alumni is
very much appreciated by all of us.
SLIET has attracted much attention
through the innovation education system. we aim to be the best institute
/University in India and beyond, with the highest quality and the most
innovation ideas . in all of this , we hope that the alumni will be part of
that success and will feel a strong sense of pride in what we achieve. I
hope to meet many of you over the period ahead, and I shall always be happy
to facilitate events, which you may wish to organize, in SLIET and
elsewhere.
