  1. A separate multi storied building for administration, accounts and academic departments has been constructed and respective offices have started functioning smoothly.
  2. A plaza park in front of Chemical and Food department has been developed with lush green trees and fountains giving a picturesque landscape.
  3. A new auditorium adjoining administrative block with a sitting capacity of 1500 is under construction.
  4. The EDP/T&P department has been shifted to the previous administrative block
  5. An applause for Mechanical Department which has been accreditated by a high level team of National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.
  6. The Chemical Department has also been accreditated by Institute of Engineers
  7. A non-conventional energy park has been set up at the site of lake.
  8. A fully computerized branch of Central Bank of India has been setup in a new building adjoining shopping complex.
  9. A separate electronic telephone exchange of BSNL has started operating in SLIET campus.
  10. The beauty of the existing lake has been enhanced with the addition of boating facilities.
